Lovely Notebooks is a stationary and gift books company providing handmade, high quality and bespoke writing materials (journals, notebooks, guestbooks) and diaries. The uniqueness of the products made is that they are manufactured using traditional, bold and brightly coloured African inspired designs and prints.

Originally, the business started of as a hobby. The founder would take ordinary notebooks and re-upholster them in hi-quality leather initially for freinds and family. Then in 2010, the founder created a padded book as a leaving gift to a work colleage. Before it could be given away as a gift, it was snapped up by a work colleague who purchased it. The colleague then told her friends about the book, who then told their friends and through word of mouth, there was increased demand and increased sales. Since then, the business has gone from strength to strength.
